Victron Energy SmartSolar MPPT 150/70-Tr VE.Can Solar Charge Controller, 12–48 V (SCC115070411)
This 70 A MPPT solar charge controller charges 12, 24, 36 or 48 V battery banks. PV open-circuit voltage is 150 V absolute maximum in the coldest conditions and 145 V for start-up and operation. Bluetooth, VE.Direct and two VE.Can ports let it join a Victron system network or be set up from a phone. Screw terminals take cable up to 2 AWG (35 mm²).
Highlights
- Nominal PV power is 1,000 W on a 12 V bank and 4,000 W on a 48 V bank.
- Up to 25 units sync their charging over VE.Can, or up to 10 over Bluetooth.
- A programmable relay rated 4 A up to 35 V DC and a two-pole remote on/off terminal are built in.
- The controller runs without a fan at up to 98% efficiency and accepts PV short-circuit current up to 50 A.
- Automatic equalization (16.2 V default on 12 V banks) stays off until enabled and is not for gel, AGM, VRLA or lithium batteries.
- An optional display (sold separately) plugs into a covered socket on the front of the controller.

Returns
You can request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. Items must be unused, in the same condition as received, in the original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
