Honeywell L8148A1017 Immersion Aquastat Relay, 140–240°F High Limit, 120 V
The L8148A1017 is an immersion Aquastat relay for hydronic boilers that pairs a high limit with the switching relay for the burner and circulator. Its built-in transformer feeds a 24 V AC thermostat circuit, while the burner and pump switch at 120 V AC. Spare terminals take a remote low limit. Install it only on systems that have a pressure relief valve.

- Burner and circulator contacts are each rated 7.4 A full load and 44.4 A locked rotor at 120 V AC.
- The bulb goes into a Honeywell immersion well with a 1/2 or 3/4 in. NPT spud, which is sold separately.
- The differential is fixed at 8°F, and the room thermostat's heat anticipator should be set to 0.2 A.
- The gray enamel horizontal case has 1/2 in. conduit knockouts and wrap-around terminals for copper wire.
- UL listed under MP466 and CSA certified under LR1620.
