Hilti AG 4S-22 Nuron 22V Cordless Angle Grinder, 5 in., Tool Only
The Hilti AG 4S-22 is a brushless 5 in. cordless grinder on Hilti's Nuron battery platform for cutting and grinding steel, stainless, concrete, masonry and stone. Six speed settings run from 3,400 to 7,600 RPM, so the same tool covers heavy stock removal and finish work. Battery and charger sold separately.
Compatible with: Hilti Nuron B 22 batteries only.
Highlights
- Active Torque Control switches the motor off at once if the disc sticks and the grinder starts to twist.
- Hilti's Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) is built in to lower vibration over long grinding jobs.
- The slim, contoured handle has a lock-on slide switch for control in most working positions.
- An integrated brake shortens the time the disc keeps turning after you switch the grinder off.
- With a 5 in. disc it cuts up to 1.34 in. deep.
- Hilti lists it for deburring and polishing metal, and for tile cutting with continuous-rim diamond discs.
